Organic Purple Barley Sourdough

Edwards Sourdough’s Organic Purple Barely Sourdough contains BARLEYmax™, a natural wholegrain developed by the CSIRO that contains twice the dietary fibre and four times the levels of resistant starch found in wheat flour. This loaf also contains amaranth, chia and quinoa to make it a true superfood. Amaranth contains high levels of soluble protein and is believed to play a role in lowering cholesterol levels in the body. Chia is a grain that contains all 8 essential amino acids, eight times more omega-3 than salmon, five times more calcium than milk, seven times more vitamin C than oranges and three times more iron than spinach. A true superfood!
